Rare Harwood Early Automatic Wrist Watch in 14K Solid Gold

Aston Estate Jewelry Presents:

A rare early example of a John Harwood wrist watch circa the early 1920's. Found in a very rare solid 14 karat gold case, this watch is a fantastic example of the first automatic wrist watch ever produced. This watch features a silver dial in beautiful original condition, and a knurled rotating bezel which is used to set the time.

In fantastic original condition this watch comes recently serviced and on a new leather strap. This watch measures 30mm wide by 38mm in length. The watch is one of the first examples made by the original inventor and is known as a first generation. To find an original Harwood in a gold case is quite rare, and to find one that is all original down to the dial and hands is a treat.
