A beautiful handmade Edwardian period sapphire, and diamond filigree ring in platinum. Centered by a 1.25 carat natural No Heat rectangular sapphire of beautiful rich velvety blue color in a miligrained platinum bezel setting. Framing the sapphire are fourteen antique European cut diamonds. The diamonds weigh a combined 1.40 carats and grade as G color, VS clarity. In excellent condition, the handmade mounting boasts pierced filigree work along with miligrain beading.

This ring is a size 5 1/2 US and is sizable. This ring measures 18mm across the top from north to south and tests as platinum.
